Hoping this DR Appointment Changes Everything

05/28/2026

2026 has been the year of appointments.  I have seen so many Doctors over a plethora of neglected issues over the years, and this year is the year that I am finally tackling some of the most important issues that I have been having.  Today, I am going to see an Endocrinologist that I hope will help me increase my testosterone levels, hopefully through something called Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).  I was alerted to this solution from one of my stream viewers who is going through it, and he mentioned that it changed his life for the better.

It has been a bit of a long road to get here.  As a 42-year-old male, I have always had lower energy levels, especially over the last 5 years or so, but I never knew what the cause was.  This year, I finally broached the subject to my primary care provider about feeling as if I may have low testosterone, and we took two blood tests to confirm that I indeed, had a very low score of 150.  The normal range for healthy testosterone is between 300 - 800, so I am well below the range and am a prime candidate for Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).  This is making me very excited for my appointment today, and I have done a little research to help the DR. determine if TRT is right for me.

Apparently, you can only get TRT if you have low testosterone, even though I am sure many people try to get the treatment anyways because of the many benefits that having a higher testosterone level provides.  I did a little research and asked AI about it, and this is what the benefits seems to be:

1).  Improved Sexual Function:  Increased sex drive, erectile function and frequency of erections, and overall sexual satisfaction.

2).  Increased Lean Muscle Mass and Strength:  Increase lean body mass, improve muscle strength, reduce fat mass

3).  Higher Bone Density:  Increases bone mineral density and increased your resistance to fractures.

4).  Improved Mood and Emotional Well Being:  Improved Mood, Energy Levels, Sense of Well-Being

5).  Improved Energy Levels:  Daytime Energy and Vitality

6).  Better Red Blood Cell Production

There are also some risks to consider with the TRT treatment as follows, which is why a blood test is required to determine if you have low testosterone:

A).  Worsening Sleep Apnea

B).  Acne or Oily Skin

C).  Infertility

D).  Prostate Enlargement Symptoms

E).  Elevated Red Blood Cell Count

F).  Possible Cardiovascular Risks

Looking at the benefits and risks, I am ok with going ahead with this treatment if the DR. determines it is the best course of action.  I am in a place right now where my mentality is all about tackling the issues that have hurt me for years, and based on all my symptoms and low testosterone scores, I can tell that this treatment could potentially be a game changer and really help me continue on my path to wellness in 2026.  This, coupled with the already major strides of eliminating my headaches and migraines, will be a major step towards my physical and mental health being in a place ready to tackle even more of the world that I have been missing over the last 10 years.

Outside of this appointment, I still have a few other major appointments that are coming up that I believe will continue to improve my well-being, including a potential surgery to correct my deviated septum (clogs in my nasal passages) as well as a sleep study to determine if I have sleep apnea.  I believe my clogged nasal passage and my sleep apnea may be related as I can never breathe well outside of my nose and always have to breathe out of my mouth.  We will see however, maybe TRT even helps with that side of things too (although they say worsening sleep apnea is a risk).

In any event, I am entering this appointment optimistically, because if I can get this TRT solution to my low testosterone vitals, I believe that my world is about to change in a very important and impactful way.  Looking forward to the future as we head into this day, and as always, it's time to head to the morning walk and gym.  Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday!

Until next time,

Blackboa
